Enjoy a scenic and relaxed ride down to the Murchison River. View real live kangaroos and a magnificent bird life while returning through majestic "Kalbarri Country", Western Australia.
Big River Ranch is run by Nationally Accredited Instructors

Duration: 1 or 2 hours in the saddle + 45 minutes for ride preparation.
Suitable for: Beginner - Intermediate - Experienced.
What to bring: Long pants, covered shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera.
Cost: 1 hour $55, 1½ hours $75, 2 hour $90, 20 minute pony ride $20 - all prices inclusive of GST.

Please note: There are no refunds during peak periods or for no-shows. Starting times of rides and length of rides will vary during school holidays and different seasons.

Definition of riding ability:
Beginner - less than 100 times.
Intermediate-can trot and hold a canter.
Experienced - can ride any horse, any style!
Crossing River
ALL Rides are fully supervised.

Riders should wear long pants and covered shoes.
If you are not travelling with such clothing we have spare pants and shoes available.

We reserve the right to alter, change or cancel our horse rides if we feel it is in the best interest of the customer or the horse.
All durations include signing in, helmet fitting, duty of care, horse allocation and mounting.
  Please choose your riding ability carefully as it will determine the type of horse allocated. Do not put yourself in a higher category in the hope of getting a faster horse as it can be extremely dangerous.
  All rides are fully supervised.
  Weight and age restriction apply.
  Trotting is essential in learning your balance on the horse.
  Staff are equipped with lead ropes to lead along any nervous riders. However, you cannot be lead for the whole ride as staff need to tend to their riders.
  All saddles are equipped with safety straps for balance.
Helmets are compulsory by LAW! No helmet, no ride - even experienced riders.
